Don’t forget to check out the unusual florist and gift shop located in the historic former post office. If it is a night on the town you’re after, the local cinema offers the latest shows. Erwin holds many opportunities for growth while holding on to its small town charm. The Town of Erwin Board of Mayor and Alderman has commissioned the development of a master revitalization plan to maintain the Town’s beauty while bringing a relaxing park atmosphere to the canvas. With lighting, signage, trees and benches, With the completion of the plan, the Town will completely renovate the sewer, storm water drainage, and utilities to include underground utilities and the addition of decorative lampposts to replace current street lighting in downtown.  In addition, the Town plans to install new way finding signage in and around downtown, as well as add trees and benches to enhance the tranquil experience of shopping and exploring downtown.
